buying procedures

Please follow these simple steps to receive a soft offer and allocation of cement

1. The Buyer or Broker sends a Letter Of Intent (LOI) or an Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order (ICPO) to WTGS GmbH by email or fax, requesting a price.

2. World Trading General Service issues a Soft Offer price from the Seller, back to the buyer or broker, which is valid for 5 working days.

3. Once the buyer accepts the Soft Offer price, the buyer issues an LOI, on the company letterhead paper, showing the agreed price and the current date. They must also complete the BCL and Soft Probe authorisation

4. The Seller verifies both the LOI and the buyer's banking facilities and then issues a Full Corporate Offer (FCO) in return.

5. The Buyer signs FCO and Seller issues a draft contract to the Buyer.

6. The Buyer returns draft contract with amendments if any to the Seller via fax or e-mail.

7. The Seller reviews and confirms any changes made in draft contract by the Buyer. If the Seller agrees to the changes made by Buyer, the Seller issues the final binding contract via fax or e-mail.

8. The Buyer returns the final agreed contract duly signed and sealed via e-mail or fax.

9. The Seller will then scan the fully signed, sealed and initialled contract and email or fax the soft copies to the Buyer.

10. The Seller will issue to the buyer four (4) original hard copies of the contract via courier to Buyers address as stated in the contract.

11. Immediately upon receiving the Sellers signed and sealed hard copies of the contract via courier the Buyer will personally sign and seal the 4 hard copies and return two (2) originals by courier to the Seller.

12. The Buyer within 5 working days is now required to open a non-operative Letter of Credit (LC) or payment instrument as agreed, to the Sellers bank.

13. Within 48-72 hrs of receiving the non-operative financial instrument, the Seller will then provide Proof of Product (POP) and 2% Performance Bond to the Buyer. The POP will be issued bank to bank after the non-operative LC or payment instrument is opened and not before.

14. The POP (which includes certification) automatically changes the non-operative LC or payment instrument into an operative LC or payment instrument.

15. The original certificates are given with shipping documents.

** Please note the Buyer may inspect the product at loading at his/her own cost if required **

incoterms

Incoterms make international trade easier and help traders in different countries to understand one another. These standard trade definitions that are most commonly used in international contracts are protected by ICC copyright.
To assist traders to understand the areas that the 13 Incoterms cover and how each one works, the official ICC website now publishes the Preambles to each term in read-only format, together with basic information and background.
Incoterms is developed, maintained and promoted by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Commission on Commercial Law and Practice (CLP).
